I was thinking about the domain name for a long time. First, I thought about what users could do on the website. Users could publish articles and message other users. Then, I needed a catchy name that was both short and memorable. Pubby originated from the word, publish. Since users can publish articles on the website, I thought “Pubby” would be a solid selection.
