    Yes. If you want to anchor hyperlinks in text, use the following HTML code:
    <a href="http://yourlink" target="_blank">your link text</a>
    Copy and paste the above code into your article and replace 'yourlink' and 'your link text' to yours.

  3. Can I change the format of my article?

    Yes, please refer to this page that covers how to use HTML and CSS to format your article. (Please note that Elder Moderators may step in to fix any HTML inconsistencies.)

  4. Can I insert an image in my article?

    Yes. If you want to use an image in your article, the image has to already be somewhere online. We recommend you use Imgur to post images and will then create a link post that links to the URL of the image you just uploaded to Imgur. Then you can use the following HTML code to insert the image into your article:
    <img class="img-fluid" src="http://LinktoTheImage"/>
    Copy and paste the above code into your article and replace the link of the image to the actual one.

  5. Can I embed a YouTube video in my article?

    Yes. Go to the YouTube video you would like to share. Next to the thumb down button, you will see the "share" button. Click that and then click "embed". A paragraph of HTML code similar to the following will show:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
    Copy and paste your YouTube embedded code into your article and you are all set.

  6. Can I put ads in my article?

    Yes, as long as it abides to the posting policy.

  7. Can I save a draft of an unfinished article before I click "publish"?

    You cannot. We recommend you work on and save the draft elsewhere such as a Google Doc. Then copy and paste from there into the article submission window. To avoid accidentally logging out and losing what you had written, do not go into sleep mode, log out, or log out of GoPubby in another browser window.

  8. How can I get promoted?

    There are easy ways for you to gain status: Write high-quality articles and gain as many likes as possible. Support our website by making a contribution. Please refer to the support page.

  9. What are the benefits of having a higher status?

    Higher levels of status will be granted more articles per day as well as other privileges. Please refer to the user page to learn more about member rankings.

  10. How can I get on the leaderboards?

    Write high-quality articles and gain as many likes as possible. Articles and Pubbies that have gained the most likes in the last 7 days will be featured on the front page.

  11. How can I quickly gain likes?

    There are many ways for you to get popular. You could start off by simply liking other people’s posts and they might like you back. Another way is to share your post on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

  12. Can I create additional accounts?

    Yes. Each IP address can create a maximum of 2 accounts.

  13. I forgot my password. What should I do?

    You do not need to create a new account. Simply go to the login page and click the “forgot password” link. You can type in your email address and a password reset link will be emailed to the address you provided. The link will expire after 30 minutes.

  14. How do I change my username?

    You can change both your username and email in the account page.

  15. How do I change my profile image?

    Go to the account page to change your profile image. Click the button that says “Choose File” and upload a ‘png’, ‘jpg’, or ‘gif’ image. (Please note that ‘gif’ images will not be animated.)
